Monologue- NERD

Dear Match.com,
Hi my name is Norman Eugene Brown, and I don't know how you're going to take this, but I have something very important to tell you ... I like to play dungeons and dragons. I am 25 years old. I live in the basement of my parent’s house and as of last year I am now allowed to stay up after ten o’clock pm. It’s so cool. I like math, I have made 16 video games about different geometric shapes. I have curly hair. One time in elementary school somebody thought that Annie had come to visit the school. I cried. After that I started dying my hair brown. I have thick glasses that broke a long time ago. Right in the center, now tape holds them together. I like to dress formally. With slacks, tucked in shirts, ties or bow ties, and a nice jacket I think it makes me look more presentable. I think that the lady’s like it better to. So, I hope you accept me.
Thank you very much,
Norman Eugene Brown

"Rear window" by Alfred Hitchcock

This tense movie deals with L.B Jeffries, a reporter on sick leave, who has to stay at home and so, who observes his building's yard all the day in order to forget his boredom. Become completely obsessed by his neighbour's life, he suspects a man to have killed his wife and so, goes to investigate about this case, with the help of his faithful friend Lisa and Stella, a nurse, till the day when...
This movie is very tense, very frightful, so we have the impression to be an onlooker of the scenes, to participate in this movie, it is very intense: I loved it!
Have you ever seen it, Kyla?

reportage de sport

Bonjour.

What happened?

I think the woman was the dead man's wife: whether he was unfaithful - he had (a) mistress(es)-, or inversely, he was cuckold. Both reasons could explain that the woman killed her husband. In the first circumstance, she was afraid he was going to divorce, and so, before he left her, she murdered him in order to get all the money. In the second case, she still killed him for money: actually, as we are supposing she was unfaithful, she wanted to get money to leave with her lover far away, for instance. So, she shot her rich husband one evening in the conjugal room, then she pretended being desperate, got her inheritance, and a few weeks later, could leave with her lover who is either a Cuban immigrant or her gymnastics teacher, to tropical countries where the life expectancy is equivalent to thirty-five years, probably. Or maybe money didn't interest her: she killed him just after she had discovered he had a mistress, whether finding by chance a letter in her husband's suit or hearing, also by chance, a telephone conversation between her husband and his mistress. And so, invaded by an abyssal despair or by an unverifiable anger, offended in her self-esteem, she killed him: it wasn't a premeditated crime like in both precedent cases, but a crime of passion. But there is a second hypothesis: the murderer was his mistress! So, noticing her lover didn't dare to sue for a divorce when he had promised her, she murdered him because she couldn't live anylonger an illegitimate love story, not to profit fully from her man and to see her foe -the wife- spoiling her love life. By the way, we're conceiving she will kill the wife too, a few hours later!!!

Dress code in French schools

As you can see, in French schools, there isn't any rigor in the dress code: we can get dressed like we want, we can wear heel shoes (above all the girls!), skirts, jeans, accessories (dangling earrings, ties, scarves...) but of course, in spite of this, we always have to be well groomed and we mustn't wear religious clothes or accessories : it is the only requirement about the dress code in French schools.
